We are currently looking for the following position in our Bellevue, Washington office. This is a full-time, in-office, senior position with full benefits.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in custom and speculative residential, multifamily, and commercial architecture, with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept through completion. This role requires a leader who can drive creative design solutions, mentor junior architects, and collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver outstanding architectural outcomes. Must demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process for custom and speculative residential, multifamily, and commercial projects, from concept development through construction documentation and permitting.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and consultants to understand project goals, requirements, and constraints, and translate them into innovative design solutions.
  • Oversee and mentor junior architects and design teams, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and code research to inform design decisions and entitlement options.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, drawings, and renderings to clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of design intent.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into the design process.
  • Participate in business development efforts by contributing to proposals, interviews, and client presentations, jurisdictional design review processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree in architecture preferred.
  • Licensed Architect- State of Washington.
  • 10-15+ years of professional experience in residential, multifamily, and commercial architecture.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across a range of project types.
  • Proficiency in Revit required, proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes in Greater Seattle Area.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience servicing developers as well as homeowner clients
